I commissioned Stephen to provide structural engineering support for a self build project. His remit was to cover structural engineering drawings to support the building warrant process. He spent lots of time chatting me through the process and explaining the building warrant / SER certification process and liaising with my kit supplier to collate all information. Services were delivered when agreed and to an excellent standard (I'm not an engineer, but everything was accepted by building control). Stephen was very responsive to lots of ad-hoc queries. Following completion of his scope of works Stephen continued to respond to my queries when my groundworks contractor was on site and chatted me through some of the requirements.
