We are a small, agile domestic-focused structural Engineering consultancy led by Stephen Macmillan, a chartered Engineer with over 20 years experience. We specialize in New Build homes, bespoke extensions and internal alterations. This can range from simple single wall removals to major refurbishments. We are based in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, and cover the whole of the central belt and the West Coast of Scotland. Our aim is to provide a hassle free experience for each customer which is demonstrated by our many Five Star Google Reviews.

I commissioned Stephen to provide structural engineering support for a self build project. His remit was to cover structural engineering drawings to support the building warrant process. He spent lots of time chatting me through the process and explaining the building warrant / SER certification process and liaising with my kit supplier to collate all information. Services were delivered when agreed and to an excellent standard (I'm not an engineer, but everything was accepted by building control). Stephen was very responsive to lots of ad-hoc queries. Following completion of his scope of works Stephen continued to respond to my queries when my groundworks contractor was on site and chatted me through some of the requirements.
